Properties:
(1) Bactericidal capacity: BIT is an important bactericide and antiseptic. It can restrain microbe (fungi, germ, algae etc.) growing in organic medium, resolved any problem that caused by microbe growing in organic product, such as mildewing, degeneration, go bad.
(2) Stability: It is stable over a broad pH range of 4 – 12, and a broad temperature range.
(3) Solubility: miscible in water and most of low alcohols and glycols
(4) Safety: low poison, no irritation to eyes and skin
Appliance:
1. Appliance field: It is a biocide, miscible in water and of low toxicity. It can be used to control the growth of microorganisms in emulsion paints, adhesives, concrete additives and other water treatment formulations.
2. Using quantum: 0.03~0.3% (w/w)
3. Storage and Handling: Store in the original, tightly closed containers, in dry, dark and cool areas and away from heat sources
